Concorde  Concorde Simulator Construction Photos

These photographs from 1974 and 1975 show the construction of the British Airways Concorde Simulator at the Link-Miles factory in Lancing, East Sussex. Link-Miles built the simulator cockpit and hydraulic platform and Redifon Simulation of Crawley were responsible for the simulator computer, interface and visual system. Final assembly and commissioning of the simulator was completed at Filton in 1975 and training of BA flight crews began in March 1976. Once Concorde operations had ceased in late 2003, the simulator was decommissioned and transported to Brooklands Museum.
