"Hidden" Photos
Some of the photographs taken at the beginning of the Delta Golf restoration project were, at the time of being taken, considered to be not suitable for publishing on the web. This is because of the condition of the inside of DG's fuselage sections and cockpit which were in something of a state of disrepair when the aircraft arrived at Brooklands and also contained lots of rubbish accumulated during the aircraft's time in storage at Filton. This served to create a false impression that DG was in much worse condition than she actually was.
I created this page on my site and made it hidden so that these photos were only viewable to those directly involved with the project and not to the general public. However, with the the rebuild and restoration complete, I have now added them to the regular photograph section of the site. Thanks to Gordon Roxburgh, Mark Bolland and Kris Marmoy for allowing me to use some of their photographs.
